Each year, The Pride Center at Equality Park and our Women with Pride program partner with Broward Education Foundation to support our community’s most vulnerable children. Through the generosity of people like you, Broward Education Foundation provides in-need students in our community with the supplies they need to learn.
With your help last year, the Broward Education Foundation School Supply Drive directly helped 41,000 children in 69 Broward County Public Schools!
Prior to the pandemic, more than 200,000 students in Broward Schools were living in poverty, based on qualification and participation in the National School Lunch Program where students receive meals through school at a discount or for free. And 3 students in 4 arrive to class without the requisite school supplies necessary for learning according to 90% of teachers surveyed by the national non-profit Kids in Need Foundation. School supplies are a luxury for these students.
Will you join in supporting our community’s children?
Your contribution helps provide 21-piece safety-sealed basic school supply kits to under-resourced children in Title I elementary schools in Broward County. A little change can make a BIG change for Broward students.
