National HIV Testing Day community events

First observed on June 27, 1995, National HIV Testing Day #NHTD is a day to encourage people to get tested for HIV, know their status, and get linked to care and treatment. The 2021 theme – “My Test, My Way,” – emphasizes that there are different ways and places to get tested for HIV, including at home with a self-test!

The Pride Center’s HIV testing counselors will be out in the community this week providing fast, FREE, and confidential HIV testing at the following locations:

Thursday, June 24 from 8pm – 11pm

Saturday, June 26 from 6pm – 9pm

HIV testing is also available this week by appointment at The Pride Center in Wilton Manors (2040 N Dixie Hwy, Wilton Manors, FL 33305) from 12pm – 6:30pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday by calling 954-463-9005 ext. 202.

Beginning Monday, June 28, drop-in HIV testing will be available and appointments will no longer be required – the testing hours will remain the same: 12pm – 6:30pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
