Wicked Manors Friends,
With the changing COVID-19 regulations, increasing cases, and current CDC and Florida Department of Health guidelines and recommendations, the world is anything but normal and predictable. Together with The Pride Center’s Board of Directors and the City of Wilton Manors, we have agreed that the most responsible decision we can make is to not host Wicked Manors in 2020.
For the first time, we will be unable to safely welcome our beloved Wicked Manors party goers, trick-or-treaters, spectators, sexy schoolboys, naughty cheerleaders, leather-clad lads, and costumed cohorts to our island city for the most epic event of the year.
“No one is more upset about this decision than the Wicked Manors event planning team. Since this requires months of planning, we have to go with today’s information and projections. Breaking this tradition is truly breaking our hearts. Rest assured, we will be back stronger than ever in 2021!” says Event Co-Founder and Chairperson Doug Cureton.
You – our amazing costumed attendees are the very heart and definition of Wicked Manors, and keeping everyone healthy and safe is our highest priority! We will miss you on the streets and in the establishments letting loose and partying in your over the top costumes sharing the spirit of Halloween!
While we cannot host you in person, we can’t let a year go by without finding some way to create that Wicked Manors energy!! Please stay tuned; as Halloween approaches, we will be sharing a few smart ways that you can participate in the merriment from home!
The Pride Center depends on revenue generated during Wicked Manors, which offers vital support for our programs and services that we provide to the South Florida community. We will be accepting donations and have set a goal of $25,000 that will go back to our community. Please help us in this endeavor by donating any amount to the Wicked Manors Fundraiser.
Together we can harness the fantastic Wicked Manors love & energy as we rise and create brighter days for our community!
Our sights are set on the future, and we can’t wait to celebrate together with you at Wicked Manors in 2021!
